More than a decade ago, Berkeley crew The Pack emerged at the forefront of a young Bay Area rap scene, pioneering a sparse, party rap sound and harnessing the power of early social media sites to gain a following. Their smash hit “Vans,” an anthemic track dedicated to the popular skate shoe, earned them a major label deal but, after release their Wold Pack Party album in 2010, Lil B, Young L, Lil Uno, and Stunnaman parted ways to focus on solo endeavors.
