Before the historic city-wide Bay to Breakers race gets off the starting line, (with its massive party in tow) we wanted to highlight some of the off-the-wall costume ideas and fun tips you need for the occasion.
“Bay to Breakers is the mullet of races. Business in front, party in back.”– Allie Rasmus KTVU News Reporter
Drink up! Keep yourself hydrated, we all know we need a little more H20.
Prep beforehand. Best to start assembling your costumes now, and don’t forget that extra touch of sparkle so you’ll shine bright like a diamond.
Share your colorful personality. Spread rainbows wherever you go, go full monty, wear socks with sandals… well, you do you.
Free hugs for everyone. Don’t be shy, it’s the perfect time to make some new besties.
Pass the finish line. Or at least give it a go, the beach is calling your name!
And of course, most importantly, have fun!
