Global apparel brand Puma is hosting a series of free parties this weekend as part of the waterfront America’s Cup festivities.

The company is leveraging its elevated venue above the Embarcadero at Pier 27 with free live music and DJs through Sunday at the Puma Yard SF Weekend Kick Off. There’s no cover and it’s open to all ages, with a full bar for +21, and dance floor.

Lower Haight purveyor of good vinyl, Groove Merchant Records, is hosting a party this evening with DJs Cool Chris, B Cause and Vinnie Esparza. Expect to hear plenty of rare jazz, soul, funk, disco, Latin and hip hop. Late Saturday afternoon’s special event features the Night Moves DJs, with J-Boogie of Dubtronic and OM Records, Theory from the Faction Sound Crew and Papa Lu from UNI4RM.

The party continues Sunday with Boogie’s Sunday Funday birthday, featuring the Whooligan and DJ Bryan Boogie, who both plan to play a mix of hip hop, soul, electro and deep house tracks.
