MiDNiTES FOR MANiACS Presenting Early, Free Screening of ‘The World’s End’

The final installment of Edgar Wright, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg’s Blood & Ice Cream Trilogy The World’s End doesn’t hit theatres until August 23 but thanks to Focus Features and San Francisco’s own MiDNiTES FOR MANiACS you have the chance to see it early at AMC Metreon 16 on Monday, July 22. Not only that but the screening will be preceded by the first two films in the trilogy, both Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Oh and all three will be in attendance for a Q&A following the triple feature.

So how does one score tickets for this one time event? Simple — just come up with the best reason to be chosen over everyone else. That means be creative. Create Simon Pegg fan art, make a video doing the best Shaun of the Dead impression, just stand out from the pack. Here it is direct from MiDNiTES for MANiACS host Jesse Hawthorne Ficks:

“Send me your best excuse as to why you should get one of the 200 limited tickets (send homemade Edgar Wright art & designs, proof that you will do serious writing about the film for a publication, etc. (and make sure you are not plagerizing anything!) and email it to me at [email protected] by Sunday at 4:44pm!”

An additional treat for those who are chosen is that famed graphic artist Alex Pardee will an exclusive, limited, signed, and numbered (150) poster on sale for $50. The only catch is that the fun starts at 3:15pm and winners must attend all three screenings. So get the creative juices flowing and work up a good cough when calling in sick to work on Monday.
