Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels imprint carries out sounds in deep house that San Franciscans have become very fond of in recent years. Upcoming on the label is Fur Coat’s debut full length, Mind Over Matter, which is set for this fall.

Hailing from Venezuela, the duo comprised of Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine already have a couple pieces of work on Crosstown Rebels to date, including a collaboration with Argenis Brito called Space Ballad and their risky You and I EP featuring vocals from Cari Golden. Mind Over Matter has these tracks and plenty more with guest appearances from Rap Lisa, Mel Blatt, Stee Downs, and Big Buffy.

Given the duo’s quick rise to fame, their release is highly anticipated by fans and DJs in the tech-house realm. It drops September 17, so keep an eye out.
