Anthony Bourdain’s ‘Layover’ in SF

Anthony Bourdain’s latest Travel Channel show, “The Layover” takes its act to San Francisco tonight with the premier of the episode in the City by the Bay.

Bourdain and crew took San Francisco by storm in August, leaving food bloggers following their every move. Stops included Swan Oyster Depot, the Tonga Room (as you’ll see in the preview, sipping cocktails with Incanto’s Chris Cosentino, below), Comstock Saloon, Toronado, Blue Bottle and a Rice Paper Scissors pop-up.

During his adventures, Bourdain was joined by chefs like Coentino, Roland Passot of La Folie and La Cocina’s Caleb Zigas.

The idea behind “The Layover” is to give viewers a sketch mark of some of the best places to go in each city in a 24-to-48 hour window.
