In the video for their new single “Bug,” Wavves gets loaded, plays Monopoly, and hangs out with a gun toting mermaid.

“Bug” is the second single from the group’s new Life Sux EP. The video is trademark Wavves as frontman Nathan Williams and bassist Stephen Pope find themselves smoking weed and drinking light beer over a game of Monopoly. The scenario is almost too normal until the band ends up in the middle of a living room shootout between police, a disgruntled player, and a gun yielding mermaid while Williams and Pope overdose on what looks like MDMA before swimming away with the sea creature.

“Bug” is the first video from Life Sux, a few weeks ago the group released the first single from the record “I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl.”

The video was directed by Allen Tranner.
