15th Annual Urban Youth Arts Festival

With over 2,000 square feet of portable wall space as well as free paint, free brushes and free aerosol cans, starving artists should jump on the chance to do what they love without worrying about their pocketbooks.

This annual festival is presented by Precita Eyes Muralists and will take place at the Potrero Del Sol “La Raza” Park on Saturday from 1pm to 6pm. In addition to all the free art-making supplies and wall space to make your mark on, the event will also have live music by both bands and DJs, a youth skateboard competition sponsored by Mission Skateboards, cypher space, stencil and kids art area.

All ages are welcome to come and participate in this cost-free day of creativity and expression. And if the idea of making lots of art with lots of other people doesn’t sound fun enough, there’s a chance that your stunning visual achievements or well-done doodles might make their way to a gallery after all — best sections of the portable wall will go on display throughout the city.
