Mission Community Market Reopens

The Mission Community Market at Bartlett Street and 22nd Streets – “a weekly, outdoor market that celebrates the Mission District with fresh foods, local businesses and a ‘play street’.” – is back for its 2nd season and this time they’ll be offering even more treats for shoppers. Opening day is Thursday, April 14.

First of all, there will be an unveiling of a new mural! SF’s first mural, hidden for over 200 years in Mission Dolores, has been lovingly reproduced by Jet Martinez, Ezra Eismont, and Bunnie Reiss for all to see. There’ll also be live music and entertainment from Moving Beyond Productions and Mixtiso Latin Hip Hop Dance.

And, of course, there’s the street food: 4505 Meats, Chaac Mool in the La Cocina Cart, Good Foods BBQ, Sweet Constructions, Chile Lindo empanadas, Mission Pie, Arizmendi Bakery, and more!

It’ll definitely be a good time, so check it out!
