Snow in SF?

Yes, you read that correctly. Some crazy cold front sweeping down from Alaska may (the key word being “may”) bring snow to San Francisco. If we do get the white fluffy stuff, it will be the first time since 1976. Be prepared for mass chaos if it’s anything but light flurries and slush.

The SF Chronicle reports that, “For snow to fall, temperatures have to drop to 36 degrees. For it to stick on the ground, the temperatures have to dive below 34 degrees.” This weekend temps are expected to drop to the 30s. Brrrrr.
