Fillmore Street to Welcome Back Restaurants?

Pacific Heights’ Fillmore corridor has had a strict limit on new restaurants for more than twenty years. But, like the Berlin Wall, this edict is about to start crumbling. Eater SF via The Chronicle reports that district Supervisor Mark Farrell is trying to lift this ban allowing more brick and mortar establishments to serve food.

According to Eater SF, “Ferrell’s Legislative Aide Margaux Kelly the measure will “most likely go before the Land Use Committee 3/7 and if everything goes according to plan it will be in effect end of April 2011.”
