The popular Mission restaurant Flour + Water is coming together with local wineries for a winemaker dinner series.
Each event will feature a five course menu from Chef Thomas McNaughton, as he works with the winemakers to create dishes that match the unique features of each wine.
With each course, the winemaker will pair one of their locally produced wines alongside a glass of comparable wine from Italy.
The dinners will be prepared in the restaurant’s Dough Room, which serves as a prep kitchen during the day, as staff rolls fresh, handmade pastas. At night, it is transformed into a private dining space available for parties of up to 12 people.
The first in Flour + Water’s Winemaker Dinner Series will be held on Monday, January 24. There will be two seatings available, at 6 & 9 p.m. Mick Unti of Unti Vineyards in Healdsburg will be the first featured winemaker.
The price is $130 per person.
