Never placed a zipper or lining before? No problem! This class designed for experienced beginners and up. Students will sew a small zippered and lined bag out of cotton fabric. The exterior and interior lining can be made with the same fabric or with contrasting fabric, it’s your choice.
Instructor will share the basic design process with which you can then use to create other zippered and lined bags of various shapes and sizes. Most everyone will leave with a finished bag and some students may be able to complete a second bag, so bring extra fabric and zippers.
The $5 kit includes interfacing, pattern, and instructions. Students will be expected to provide their own sewing machine, fabric, zipper, tools, and sewing notions.
