Named one of the “Top 10 Best Wine Festivals in the World” by the USA Today, the Zinfandel Experience (ZinEX) 2017 is the only three-day event devoted entirely to Zinfandel. The weekend of events takes place in three stunning San Francisco locations: One Market, Bently Reserve and Pier 27. The weekend’s main event is Saturday’s Grand Tasting where attendees meet winemakers during the most comprehensive showing of Zinfandels and blends in the world. This ultimate tasting experience includes a selection of sumptuous samples from restaurants and winery chefs, with opportunities to experience face-to-face tastings with celebrity winemakers. Leading up to the Grand Tasting are several showcase events including a new Welcome Reception and Farm-To-Table dinner at One Market on Thursday. On Friday there is ‘Flights! – Forums of Flavor’, a seminar-style tasting, and a prestigious Winemakers Auction and Dinner at Bently Reserve with proceeds benefitting ZAP’s programming, education and Heritage projects. Tickets are available to individual events while VIP packages provide special access for an entire weekend of Zinfandel. ZinEX is will entertain, enlighten and delight wine enthusiasts from around the world in a weekend of sophisticated experiences that honor all that is Zinfandel.
