Yuzuki Japanese Eatery in San Francisco will host a $125.00 five-course prix fixe Sake Master dinner on Sunday, June 18 with seatings at either 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. Each course will be paired with a glass of sake including Hakurosuishu and all the pairings will be from the Take no Tsuyu brewery in the Yamagata prefecture in Japan. Take no Tsuyu owner and Sake Master Masao Aizawa will be at the restaurant that evening to talk about his work. Reservations can be made via OpenTable.com or by calling (415) 556-9898. This is one of a series of annual visits by Mr. Aizawa to Yuzuki Japanese Eatery based on the fact that when his daughter was born, he named her Yuzuki and created a sake of the same name. On the occasion of her 20th birthday, he celebrated by opening an aged bottle in her honor. Upon discovering that there was a San Francisco restaurant bearing the name of his daughter, Mr. Aizawa has visited every year since.
