Naturopathic doctors are trained to provide primary care and/or naturopathic specialty care. As with conventional medical training, naturopathic doctors attend 4-year graduate level programs and must pass a standardized board exam. Therapeutic training includes pharmacology in addition to complementary and alternative modalities.
