Young Bombs are a Canadian electronic music duo currently signed to Sony Music Canada. The duo is based in Vancouver, Canada and is composed of DJ/producers Tristan Norton and Martin Kottmeier. The name "Young Bombs" comes from a short-lived band they formed with another friend. The two decided to focus on EDM after Kottmeier took an interest in the genre.

In 2015, Young Bombs played their first live show, opening for The Chainsmokers at New City Gas in Montreal. That year, they also continued releasing remixes, including those for Nick Jonas ("Teacher"), Secondcity ("I Wanna Feel"), and Fletcher ("War Paint"). In 2016, the pair played in Las Vegas for the first time, again opening up for The Chainsmokers at Hakkasan. New remixes that year included those for acts like Billie Eilish ("Ocean Eyes"), Troye Sivan ("Wild"), and Rozes ("Burn Wild"), among others.

That leap remains driven by a personal and creative chemistry forged way back in the Vancouver high school where they became best friends. With nearly 100 million streams in four years, the duo of Martin and Tristan cooked up 53 remixes by 2018. Along the way, they lent their talents to everyone from Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, and Lady Gaga to Billie Eilish, Alessia Cara, Post Malone, Khalid, and Bazzi. In addition, they attracted the support of Tiësto, Kygo, and Don Diablo. Simultaneously, they graced the stages of blockbuster festivals such as Lollapalooza, Ultra, Firefly Music Festival, and the Billboard Hot 100 Festival. Not to mention, Young Bombs supported The Chainsmokers, Galantis, Diplo, and Alesso on tour around the globe and launched a coveted residency at Drai's Beachclub in Vancouver.
Now, their debut single for Astralwerks, "Starry Eyes," introduces a musicianship-centric style reliant on real instrumentation and genre-less creativity. This upbeat and undeniable anthem chronicles their journey and shines a bright light on the future as they prepare new music for release soon.
