Your instructor: Tatiana Richardson
Born and raised in the San Francisco, Tatiana was first exposed to yoga during high school. Having moved to Hawaii at the age of 18, she practiced yoga and meditation deeper and more intently on these beautiful islands. Shortly after, as yoga had made itself a prominent factor in her everyday life, she decided to do her teaching training. The fulfillment and happiness she gained from helping others help themselves and live more authentically motivated her to seek other modalities to continue down this path. Now a reiki master and massage therapist, Tatiana's diverse offerings aim to approach and unify the different aspects that make us human. From the physical body, to the mental, emotional, and energetic bodies, each of these modalities helps to bring the synthesis of these parts to a unified, connected whole.
Incorporating yoga more as a lifestyle than an exercise, Tatiana’s approach to yoga allows for integration of all parts of the Self, not just the physical aspect. With a focus on the mind, the breath, and meditation, the physical practice is a tool to delve into more subtle parts of our being. When we are in touch with our breath and aware of our thoughts, we have a much better grip on our reality and our reactions in our day to day lives.
