ABOUT TIKKUN OLAM YOGA
Tikkun Olam means "Repair the World" in Hebrew. Tikkun Olam Yoga is a monthly yoga series in San Francisco that invites you to learn about, support, and donate to grassroots human aid initiatives while practicing yoga and building a philanthropic community.
Each class begins with an introduction to an individual or organization that is working directly to help refugees and others who've been displaced by internal strife and/or natural disaster. Then we practice yoga together to dedicate energy and contribute dollars towards that effort. Each class costs $20 to reserve a spot and if you feel inclined to donate more after class you are welcome to do so. 100% of all proceeds will go to the featured individual or organization.
Classes accommodate students of all levels and feature a well-balanced vinyasa flow yoga class taught by Julia Winston, who has been teaching yoga since 2009.

This month we come together for the second Tikkun Olam Yoga class to support our neighbors in the North Bay who've lost their homes.
