Yoga Nidra - Guided Relaxation

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The more we do in our lives, the more we forget how to relax. Even when we are at home doing nothing, it's quite challenging for our body and mind to unwind and recharge, which is so essential for our health. We invite you to our guided relaxation - class of pure zen.

Yoga nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. The stages of body scan and breath-awareness alone moves you into a state with restorative brain activity - we like to call it bliss.
Both meditation and yoga nidra help activate the relaxation response and improve the functioning of your nervous system and endocrine system, which affects your hormones and improves your mood.
The practice of yoga nidra has been found to reduce tension and anxiety, headache, giddiness, pain, insomnia, stress. It has been also used to help people cope with posttraumatic stress disorder.
The good news that you really have to do nothing besides relaxing in a state of complete bliss. Please join us and enjoy the benefits of this sweet practice.
