Yoga at the Grace Cathedral has been called “the most popular and unique yoga class in San Francisco". Several hundred people of all ages, from all over the city, of many different faith affiliations, including none, gather as one to practice yoga in the darkened cathedral. Colorful mats cover the labyrinth, the aisles and even the altar. Tuesday Yoga begins with a short reflection with one of the clergy members and class is led by instructor, Darren Main, and live musicians. This is a free event, however, donations of $10-$20 are welcome. Donations support the teachers, musicians and cathedral. Please bring water and a yoga mat. If you do not own a mat, you may borrow one for a $5 donation. Since this is such a popular event, please arrive no later than 6pm. Namaste!
