Saturday April 6, 2-5pm
Students will be introduced to a dynamic practice of asana and taught key actions needed to progressively support greater freedom in the spine and the breath in all categories of poses, including basic arm balances and back extensions. By learning how to direct the body with clarity, precision of feeling, affection and care, we experience first hand how nothing wholesome can be achieved by force. It is then possible to develop greater skill in understanding and responding appropriately to the challenges we face in our practice in a joyful, coherent and integrated manner.
Open to students with at least one year regular practice of Iyengar yoga without serious injuries or health conditions.
