Delve into a history where supernatural creatures and time-travel prevail during this literary reading and talk by best-selling authors Andrew Sean Greer (The Confessions of Max Tivoli, The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells), and Helene Wecker (the Jinni and the Golem). Following the reading will be a moderated discussion with the authors. Book sales and signing will follow.

Andrew Sean Greer is the recipient of the New York Public Library Young Lions Award, the O Henry Award for short fiction and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Public Library. His latest novel is The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells.

Helene Wecker is Askenazi Jewish, and her husband’s family is Syrian, giving her a unique perspective on these two cultures’ mystical traditions and the immigrant experiences of both groups. The Golem and the Jinni is her first novel.

Tickets: FREE with regular admission as follows: General Admission, $12; Students with a valid ID and Seniors, $10; Members and Youth 18 and under, free.
