Write Whole: A writing group open to all women survivors of sexual trauma
Meets Wednesday evenings, 6:30-9:00pm.
Fall 2018 session begins November 7, 2018
Will you join us?
Transform your relationship with your writing -- and with yourself.
No previous writing experience necessary: Open to folks of all writing abilities!
This group is open to all women* survivors of sexual trauma -- join us and find words for your story.
In this writing group, we freewrite together in response to exercises chosen to elicit deep-heart writing, and deal with such subjects as: body image, family/community, sexuality, dreams, love, faith, and more. We create new art and new beauty out of the difficult and complicated realities of our lives. You'll be encouraged to trust the flow of your own writing, and receive immediate feedback about the power of your words!
*This session of Write Whole is open to anyone who identifies as a woman and as a survivor of trauma -- please don't hesitate to contact me if you're wondering whether you'd "fit"!
Groups held in private, comfortable space in downtown Oakland, very close to 12th St. BART and other public transportation. Spaces are limited to 10 writers per session; pre-registration is required. To learn more, with fee questions or to register, call show contact info or visit
