World Affairs is proud to announce its first ever VIRTUAL Global Citizen Awards, taking place on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 PM in an online, interactive format. This year, we're celebrating individuals who have taken bold action on climate change and have thus increased our understanding and awareness of this critical global challenge. We are proud to honor former Governor Jerry Brown, CalPERS CEO Marcie Frost and environmentalist Sylvia Earle for their impact in addressing Climate Change in their respective work.
Please join us for a memorable evening of music and conversation on a topic that will affect us all. Scott Shafer, Senior Editor for KQED's Politics and Government Desk, will moderate our annual fundraising event and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Zoom conversations on Climate Change immediately following the program.
A purchase of a ticket or a donation helps sustain our work and in this critical year, will be more valuable than ever. Corporate and individual sponsorships are available, and individual tickets are now on sale. For more information, please visit:

We are grateful to our donors and our generous sponsors: First Republic Bank, Dentons, Asset Management Company and the Asia Society. As a Bay Area community organization, we could not exist without you.
