The Capitola Book Cafe presents another installment in their monthly World Affairs Book Club meetings. This month's selection is Beyond War: Reimagining American Influence in a New Middle East, by David Rohde, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author. Rohde draws from eleven years of expert reporting for The New York Times, Reuters, and The Atlantic Monthly to examine the cardinal failing of Washington's war on terror and shows how the failed American effort to back moderate Muslims since 9/11 can be salvaged.
