Kim Shuck is the current poet laureate of San Francisco. Daughter of a Cherokee man from Oklahoma and Polish mother. Educator, visual artist, poet, iconoclast in San Francisco, Kim has published two collections of poetry, one chapbook, one collection of prose poems and is working on a collection of poems to be published in 2019. She has worked with children in San Francisco public schools on poetry and math for over 30 years.
