This is an opportunity to revisit the concepts, ties and foundational knowledge we have covered in our classes at the Armory, and also to deepen your Shibari practice in a supportive environment.
We provide a comfortable space with down-tempo music, suspension points, and tea & water. There will be no formal instruction, but participants are encouraged to explore and tie whatever inspires them.
Blue & Brasa will be available to review ties they have taught in recent classes, give feedback, and offer help and suggestions. All levels are welcome (though of course, suspension points should be used only by those proficient with suspension, and at their own risk).
Bring your rope & a yoga mat if you have them.
PLEASE NOTE: These classes are for female, female identifying, cisfemale, and gender non-conforming students only. Based on very strong feedback, we were inspired to provide a safe learning atmosphere for the erotic and intimate world of Japanese Rope Bondage. We believe every human has a right to educational access, AND we also believe that sometimes it is safest to do this within a specific container.

As half of the duo Bondage Erotique, Blue has been teaching and performing Japanese Rope Bondage across the U.S. since 2012. Bondage Erotique presents monthly classes and rope jams at the SFArmory, co-hosts a suspension booth at Folsom Street Fair, and runs many other local rope events and classes regularly.
Blue has also facilitated Rope Bottoms roundtables in SF, and presented Rope Bottoming education at Bondage Expo Dallas and Anatomie Studios London. As a longtime rope bottom who has emerged as a passionate rigger, Blue brings to her tying a deep understanding for what it means to be in rope, and a well-rounded perspective on physical and emotional needs and possibilities for both partners.
