6:30-8:45pm Women Tying Women: A Beginner's Exploration of Japanese Rope Bondage

Learn foundational ties, AND how to create a fun, sexy, and safe scene with them!
We will move through several techniques and exercises that encourage students to be playful, mindful, and creative with their rope and their partners.

No experience necessary. 

9-10:30 Women Tying Women Rope Jam
Come practice your rope in a safe and sexy environment!


Multiple points available for those experienced in suspension, and space for floor ties will be available as well.
Teas, sweets and chill tunes to set the tone.
All levels welcome and encouraged to participate.
There will be no instruction but Blue will be available for feedback and assistance as needed through out the event. 

Rope Jams are a wonderful way to:

meet people in the rope community.
get inspired by the kinds of rope people are practicing at all levels and a diversity of style and approach.
practice the technique you have been learning in class.
be a part of a sex and body positive, safe and welcoming atmosphere.



PLEASE NOTE: This class and rope jam are for female, female identifying, and gender NB students only. Based on very strong feedback, we were inspired to provide a safe learning atmosphere for the erotic and intimate world of Japanese Rope Bondage. We believe every human has a right to educational access, AND we also believe that sometimes it is safest to do this within a specific container.

About the presenter:

Blue has been teaching and performing Shibari (Japanese Rope Bondage) in San Francisco, and across the U.S., since 2012.She recently opened VoxBody Studio, the Bay Area's first rope-dedicated venue.Blue is part of an active rope community in the Bay Area, teaching classes and hosting events regularly, and running a suspension performance booth at Folsom Street Fair each year.Most of Blue’s teaching and performing has been as half of the duo Bondage Erotique, but she has also branched out, and as a rigger, to launch a Women Tying Women series, and perform at events such as Twisted Windows, What the Festival, and Vau de Vire Society productions.
