Women in Cleantech and Sustainability (WCS) and Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) join forces to get us outdoors for a Spring hike! The event is designed to inspire us to enjoy the very nature we help preserve as a part of our careers.
The hike will take place at the Lands End, located north of Golden Gate Park. It boasts the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay views including our beloved Golden Gate Bridge. It is planned to be 3.4 miles long and has a coastal terrain. A $5 fee is charged at registration to cover snacks and drinks. Please bring your reusable water bottle and plan to carry out your trash. Remember sunscreen, trail shoes and a hat. Carpooling is suggested and appreciated.
We will meet at the Sutro Bath parking Lot at 10 am, hike to Lands End to both the labyrinth and the beach and then return to the original meeting spot via a different route at approximately 12:45 pm.
Come join us, be active outdoors and show mother nature some love.
