Women in Big Data - Launching a Career in Big Data

SEE EVENT DETAILS
According to US census data, nearly half of the total labor force in the US is female and yet only 25% of technical roles are filled by women.
At Databricks, we believe increasing gender diversity in big data will fuel innovation, help attract top talent, and increase market share. As part of our mission to make big data more inclusive, we have partnered with Looker (https://looker.com/) and Foundation Capital (https://foundationcapital.com/) to bring this exciting event to the San Francisco and Silicon Valley tech community!
This event is designed for anyone interested in building a career in big data and open to women and men of all professional backgrounds.
Please join us for an evening of lively and thought provoking conversation with 3 female leaders in big data and their career journey.
Agenda:
5:30-6:30 pm Registration & Networking with Cocktails and Appetizers provided by Databricks
6:30-7:30 pm Women in Big Data Panel and Open Q&A
