Madeline’s Story is her biography about her immigrant mother. A former teacher and school psychologist, Carpignano’s work has appeared in national magazines.
Ida J. Lewenstein is a retired ESL instructor who wrote poems, chants and rhymes for her students. Her story poems for children have been published in Fan Story; Sky Visits Earth received an award. She is published in Fault Zone, newspapers, and online journals. She currently writes about environmental issues.
