Kathy Mata Ballet is excited to announce our upcoming Winter Holiday Showcase at San Francisco's ODC Theater. Company members will perform dances which range from classical to contemporary, as well as character dance, in a variety of solos, duets, plus more, all to recorded music, as well as piano music performed in person by our professional ballet accompanists Michael Dolman and Lucy Hudson, who is also our company Music Director.
Offering admission free of charge, our performances always aim to benefit seniors, veterans, and local community charities in and around San Francisco, who otherwise might not get to see live dance performances. We have performed regularly for over three decades in local senior centers and theaters (such as with the Spring Dance Inspiration events at the Cowell Theater, Fort Mason Center, from 2007-2010, which raised tens of thousands of dollars for brain tumor research and treatment).
As a 501(c)(3) Non Profit organization, we welcome and encourage donations through our fiscal partner, Dancers' Group, by locating Kathy Mata Ballet on their website's list.
