Wine Tasting - Pinot Noir of the World - San Francisco Wine Meetup

Lets face it Pinot noir is truly amazing. It's beautiful and complex aromatics, silky fine tannin, bright acidity, and endless subtle nuance make it sheer pleasure to consume. I would personally be quite happy consuming Grand Cru Burgundies only for the rest of my days if only I could afford it. That said many regions across the world are making excellent Pinot noir these days, so let's get together and taste them some of them!We'll blind taste 5 different high quality Pinot Noirs which are representative of their terroir from the following regions and rank them.-Burgundy, France-California, USA-Oregon, USA-New Zealand or Australia-Germany or AustriaWe'll then compare notes on each wine, rank them, and reveal the wines! Afterwards folks are welcome to hang around at the Dogpatch Wineworks Winebar which will be open.*The meetup is limited to 20 guests to keep it intimate.*The price is $25 to cover the cost of the wines.*Some amount of wine tasting experience is probably a good idea but not required.
