Willkommen was opened in May 2019 by Black Hammer Brewing Company after a trip by the company's founders to Munich to research Bavarian beer culture. That experience was uniquely magical, and Jim and Kevin were inspired to recreate the feeling back home in San Francisco, and thus, Willkommen was born.
With our Bauhaus-meets-Bavarian aesthetic, 20-foot windows, towering living indoor trees, multiple living walls, creeping vines, sustainable Cal-German cuisine and 26 taps of craft and imported beer and wine, Willkommen brings you and your guests that our own flavor of that magical Munich experience.
