Whiskey is a broad category that means solely that the spirit is made from grain. That means bourbon, rye, scotch are all whiskeys. So what’s the difference?

In this 90 minute class, Doctor Inkwell of Boozephreaks will teach you why they taste different, how they came to be what they are, guide you through a category tasting, then show you how diverse whiskeys can be.

The founder of Boozephreaks, Doctor Inkwell, is the host of the "In The Know" spirits segment on local program CHN Now. As a spirits expert, the good Doctor advises with distillers, creates cocktail programs, leads local distillery tours, and enjoys sharing his passion for the taste, culture and history of international spirits. Doctor Inkwell focuses on the science of alcohol to forward his mission: to help you drink better spirits.
