Institute On Aging, SF's leading advocate for older adults and those who care for them, is screening When We Rise, the groundbreaking docudrama chronicling the gay rights movement from the Stonewall Riots to the present day. The eight-hour miniseries premiered on ABC in multiple episodes last February and March, and this is the perfect opportunity and location to watch it again or see it for the first time. The entire series will show over two nights, and after each showing two of the original activists depicted will be on hand to meet with audience members and discuss the stirring historical events it recounts.
