CRASH TEST WORLD: Crash Test World is all about BIG ideas! In this new family-friendly TV series host Kari Byron (Mythbusters) discovers how history, technology, culture, and people come together to make their world - and ours - a better place.
Crash Test World is the first TV series from non-profit organization ProjectExplorer, a leader in innovative instruction with a 17-year history of using media to help students grow up globally competent and culturally aware.
"ProjectExplorer creates kid-friendly videos and free curricula to foster global awareness and cross-cultural understanding," said ProjectExplorer Founder and Series Creator / Executive Producer, Jenny Buccos. "A project nearly a decade in the making, Crash Test World is slated for broadcast in 2020 in more than 100 countries, taking our mission to a new level. This series will bring global issues directly into family living rooms, and it is our hope that it will inspire individual actions that positively impact our planet."
"ProjectExplorer was creating online videos predicated on what I call Adventure Learning before YouTube even existed," said Andrew Zimmern, Executive Producer of Crash Test World. "The work completed over the last decade is heavily inspired by the UN's Global Goals, focusing on food security, urban sustainability, and responsible consumption. Crash Test World, our new television series, is foundationally about young people exploring and seeking solutions to the biggest challenges of our time... and nothing is more important than that as we navigate the ambiguity of the world's current state."
