WERD celebrates 15 years of Underground House & Techno in the city by the Bay. The party moves outside for an all-day into night waterfront dance with special guest Shonky (Apollonia / Paris)! Of course, the WERD DJs & crew will be on hand with a all-star list of local selectors.

About WERD. : WERD began as a meet-up amongst a few music friends at the end of their weekend. They sought a tucked-out-of-the-way venue to bring Underground House and Techno to Sunday nights in San Francisco. Otis, on Maiden Lane, became the weekly home for a round up of buds, artists, and co-workers, who all found refuge in music at this small space. Sunday night became the highlight of the group's week. Soon they began inviting others down to join in the dj booth. Since the first WERD Sunday over 600 artists & DJs have graced the decks, all the while 14 contributing residents have helped to keep WERD a weekly affair. The venue has changed, some of the residents have come and gone, but the focus remains the same to this day; The love for community, the connection through dance, and the excitement of sharing new music. This fall, WERD enters 15 years of weekly Sunday Underground House & Techno in the City By The Bay.
