Poetry Center San Jose (PCSJ) presents Well-RED, an exciting poetry reading series in downtown San Jose, featuring Stephen Kessler at Works/San Jose on April 17th at 7pm.
STEPHEN KESSLER will be reading from his new book of poems, Scratch Pegasus. Kessler’s poems, translations, essays, criticism, journalism and fiction have been appearing across the small press and independent publishing landscape in the United States, and especially California, for more than forty-five years. His other recent books include Poems of Consummation by Vicente Aleixandre (translation), The Tolstoy of the Zulus (essays), The Sonnets by Jorge Luis Borges (as editor and principal translator), The Mental Traveler (novel), and Burning Daylight (poems).
