April 27-May 4, 2019, times vary
The Breema Center will offer several free introductory classes plus mini-sessions to balance and harmonize body, mind, and feelings as part of celebrating Bay Area National Dance Week.
Any one of these introductory events is a perfect way to discover a new way of thinking, feeling, and moving, and to nurture a new relationship to yourself, others, and all life.
The purpose of practicing Breema is to bring you to the present, and support you to remain present. When you are present, others are supported to be present.
Breema bodywork emphasizes mutual support to balance both giver and receiver. Self-Breema movements give ideal support for practicing body-mind connection. Breema's principles can be practiced anywhere, helping us to bring greater harmony to our lives.
As Breema is floor-based, participants must be comfortable sitting and working on a well-padded floor. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. Classes start on time. Wear stretchy clothing and clean socks, and no fragrances or scented products, please.
All classes will take place at the Breema Center, 6076 Claremont Avenue, Oakland. See our website for details. Also visit our Facebook page and The Breema Channel on YouTube.
