The Warriors are back in the Western Conference Finals and Old Oakland is once again closing down the block, rolling out the AstroTurf and setting up a big screen to host the 9th Street Warriors Watch Party. Friends, families, neighbors, and Dubs fanatics from all over the Bay will be cheering on Steph, KD, Klay, Draymond, and the gang while enjoying free family-friendly activities and Old Oakland’s finest food and drinks at the bustling Swan’s Marketplace and surrounding local restaurants.
The 9th Street Watch Party is a pop-up block party where Warriors fans and Oakland neighbors can come together to celebrate the Dubs’ success and all that downtown Oakland has to offer. Festivities will include other family-focused fun like face painting, a balloon artist, and giveaways. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. sharp so don’t miss any of the game, snacks, drinks, and spirit. The 9th Street Watch Party is expected to continue for away games throughout the Warriors’ 2018 playoff run.
