Our annual book sale, the largest on the West Coast, is coming up fast! We need over 1000 volunteers to help us raise over $100,000 dollars for the San Francisco Public Library in just 5 days.
The sale runs from October 29th to November 4th, with the 29th as a set up day and the 30th our member preview night.
All volunteers receive a voucher for free books for every 2 hours of book sale assistance!
Volunteers act as:
Cashiers
Callers (bag books and help cashiers keep the mine moving quickly)
Floaters (restock tables with books and keep them organized, go where needed)
Customer assistants (hand out maps and answer questions)
Volunteer Check In help
Most positions require the ability to stand and lift up to 25lbs. If you would like to volunteer but have physical restrictions, you can always help at the check in desk or in the kitchen. If you have any questions please contact

Fill out and submit form
You will receive a confirmation email shortly followed by an email with username and temporary password
Return to Shiftboard and enter new username and password
Click on: Calendar
