Our Docent Council is honored to announce the fourth annual Voices of Contemporary Artists (VOCA) lecture, featuring artist Stephanie Syjuco. Syjuco will discuss her artistic practice which spans several mediums, including photography, sculpture, and installation. Her current work focuses on how photography and image-based processes play a part in racialized, exclusionary narratives of history and citizenship. This lecture is free and open to the public and will be held in the de Young museum's Koret Auditorium.
