On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 7:30 PM, in the basement of the Los Altos Masonic Lodge (close to the elevator and the stairs), 146 Main Street, Los Altos, the De Anza Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society will feature a program by Tim Walsh about a trip he took in May of 2018 to northern Wales; and to Bremen, Germany where he attended the International Rhododendron Conference. In the program Tim Walsh will let us know us how rhododendrons grow in Germany, and show photos of famous gardens, such as Rhododendron Park.

Tim Walsh, who lives in Eureka, California, is a long time member of the Eureka Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, served as President of that Chapter, is the Director of District 5 of the American Rhododendron Society which includes California and Hawaii, and played a major role in the establishment of the Humboldt Botanical Garden, especially the Moss Family Temperate Woodland Garden.
