Join your friends and family online for 19th Annual LUNAFEST, the national film festival that supports films by and about women, hosted by Sports Basement. Enjoy our flexible virtual format showcasing seven films that compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heart strings and motivate you to make a difference in the community.
LUNAFEST is united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling - by and about women. LUNAFEST not only supports women in the film community, but also raises awareness for women's issues and supports nonprofit organizations across the country.
As a ticket holder, you will receive a streaming link and password before the event with a 24-hour period to view the films anytime from 9 AM (Pacific Time) on Saturday, July 11, 2020 to 9 AM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
While this event is free, we encourage you to make a donation of $5 or more to Girls on the Run of the Bay Area. Girls on the Run instills the importance of physical health and emotional resilience for thousands of Bay Area girls as well as their families, coaches and communities that support them. We can't think of a better time to invest in our youth!
NOTE: Films featured in LUNAFEST are not rated but we suggest age 14+ for this season's lineup. The 2020 Season features seven (7) short films with a total program running time of 96 minutes.
