Narrated like a David Attenborough documentary, the filmmakers seem to identify themselves as separate species while allowing the subjects to be completely open and honest about their experiences. The film features interviews with homosexuals and transgendered individuals relaying their life stories, as well as glimpses into the wild-party atmosphere and sexual novelties of San Francisco's groovy golden age.

Watch these drag queens gussy them selves up in preparation for San Francisco’s Gay Pride Parade. Amazing one of a kind parade shots are riveting in their exuberance and over the-top sensibilities.
