Vintage House “Are You Ready?” Disaster-Preparedness Fair
What: Vintage House free emergency-preparedness event: Experts from the Redwood Credit Union-North Bay Fire Relief Fund, CSAA Insurance Group, The Elder Resource Alliance, local senior centers, and more will be present to provide free preparedness tips, information, resources and goods -- including free emergency-preparedness bags, medication bags, and “File of Life” folders -- to seniors.
When: 1-4 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018
Where: Vintage House Senior Center, 264 1st Street, Sonoma, CA, 95476 (Parking will be provided at the end of First Street East, with free shuttles to and from Vintage House.)
Who: Open to all Sonoma Valley seniors – Registration required at vintagehouse.org or register by phone: (707) 996-0311
Why: Sonoma Valley seniors were hit particularly hard by the 2017 North Bay wildfires
with 28 percent of the valley’s residents over age 65, it’s time to make sure our senior population is not left unprepared for the next big event.
