Vibrant Cities is a multi-year initiative that aims to provide a platform for faculty, students, and the public to engage in meaningful conversation, where art and design meets social culture. Vibrant Cities engages with the arts, nature, and people--caring for and designing systems that ensure the longÂ-term health and durability for all living on Earth. Vibrant Cities illustrates how human systems would benefit more from creative leadership. In partnership with others in our cities and communities, the Vibrant Cities initiative seeks to make the invisible visible, so that, together, our imagination and talents can make positive change.
Please join fellow CCA faculty and students for a brown-bag lunch as we welcome monthly guests from the dynamic Design community. Each guest will informally share their story and we expect lively conversation.
On March 30, we invite Natalia Sourdis.
In her capacity as Senior Interaction Designer for IDEO.org's Launchpad program, Natalia creates innovative services, interactions, and experiences to improve the lives of people who need it most. At IDEO.org, she has worked on projects ranging from designing a financial literacy mobile app with Moneythink to collaborating to bring our human-centered design learning platform, Design Kit, to life.
Prior to joining IDEO.org Natalia worked at the advertising agency Leo Burnett as an Interactive Art Director, creating engaging digital campaigns, creative strategies, and branded multi-platform experiences for clients such as Procter & Gamble. She’s also been involved with a number of startups in NYC, collaborating closely with entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses, focusing on UX and web design across industries such as health and wellness, media, and entertainment.
Natalia holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia and a master’s in Interaction Design from Domus Academy in Milan, Italy.
