On Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14, Le Colonial in San Francisco will be open from 5:30 to 10:00 PM (bar and lounge open 5:00 to 11:00 p.m.) serving their regular a la carte dinner menu plus Chef's specials in the spirit of the occasion including Sup Ca Chua (roasted tomato and ginger soup topped with star anise brioche crostini/$12.00), Wonton Tom Hum (lobster pot stickers served with sweet and spicy Thai basil aioli/$18.00), pan seared Chateaubriand (with sautéed mushrooms and a red wine reduction/$42.00), Lobster Cassolette (lobster in crust with coconut and lobster sauce and seasonal vegetable/$55.00), and Spoon Up (for two, with passion fruit, chocolate and raspberry/$20.00). There will be live musical entertainment. Parties of ten or more will be a required to order either a $55.00 prix fixe menu or a family style dinner for $75.00 per person (requires 48 hours advance notice).
